Pammi Sehgal

Age: 48 yrs Profession: House wife Pammi, like most housewives, has led a simple protected life, where her world revolves around her family… fiercely protective about her home and family, she, inspite of being extremely soft hearted, is not so soft with her usage of words. She is blunt and has an annoying habit of complaining and taunting. Pammi shares a very unique love hate bond with Suman. The two are best of friends but also have to fight every day - whether it is for the clothesline or space in the refrigerator. However if anyone else tries to intervene in their fights the two of them become one and the third person has to bear the brunt of their anger. The two of them are inseparable and treat the other’s children as their own.. when dhruv is punished even Pammi will take his side just as Suman. Among her daughters, Pammi is particularly fond of Dimpy, who has turned out to be a perfect daughter. But Ginni, at times, scares her and Pammi blames Avtaar for spoiling her and encouraging her to be such a brat - “jis ghar mein jayegi, bawaal hi karegi” Dhruv is her most favorite inspie of all the goof-ups he does. She feels that he is a honest hearted carefree kid who will eventually grow up with time.

Roopa Tripathi

Age: 25 years Profession: Housewife A chatter box, gossip monger, gets easily influenced by outward beauty, insecure, immature and jealous. She is strongly influenced by Bublee and constantly ends up comparing her world with hers. She expects Dhairya to treat her in the same way as Bunty treats Bublee, but Dhairya being a practical, non-romantic guy fails her miserably… thus leading them towards an unfulfilled strained relationship. Roopa also sees Bublee not participating in the household chores and loves Pammi aunty and mamiji for being such good mothers-in-law.

Suman Tripathi

Age: 48 yrs Profession: House wife A loving, doting mother and an ever trusting wife, Suman is the backbone of the Tripathis. Being the soft hearted human being that she is, she readily forgives and forgets so her fights with Pammi become a non issue after a point. After every fight with Pammi, it is Suman who breaks the ice. She realizes the fact that Roopa is immature and knows in her heart that she will someday understand the true worth of the relations. Unlike others, Suman strongly believes that someday, her most hated son, Dhruv, will make the family proud. She understands that there is a problem between the father and son and tries hard to solve it, but fails in doing so.
