Rahman postpones Delhi-6 release

I have it from my sources that the release date of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra – UTV's Delhi-6 has been postponed. The film was set to release on February 20th but has now been pushed back by almost a month.


Sources inform, "The major reason for the film's delay is music maestro AR Rahman. He has still not completed the background music of the film. Rahman has been busy attending the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles. And now with the Screen Actors Guild Awards happening in the US as well, Rahman has not been able to dedicate enough time to Delhi-6. With less than a month left now for the announced date of release, it seems less likely that the Oscar nominee will be able to complete it on time. Also, Rakeysh Mehra being a stickler for perfection didn't want a hurried job from Rahman."
