Prep Time: 30 minutes or less | Cook Time: 30 minutes - 1 hour | Serves: 12 Appetizers » Cheese » French Ingredients: ****ermilk-ranch, Bacon and Cheddar Gougeres aka Cheese Puffs I wanted to make something high-end out of bacon-cheddar-ranch. So I thought - GOUGERES! also known as Cheese Puffs. Upscale snack food. Gougeres are made from pate-a-choux, they're basically savory cream puffs. Crispy on the outside, and hollow and creamy on the inside. And boy oh boy were these good. Ingredients: 3/4 cup ****ermilk 5 TB ****er 1 cup flour 3 eggs 2 strips bacon, diced 1 cup cheddar, shredded 1/2 tsp fresh thyme, minced 1 tsp fresh basil, minced 1/2 tsp ****ermilk dressing base powder salt and fresh ground pepper Preheat oven to 425. |
