Land rover launches Range Rover Velar
Land Rover has now officially announced the launch of its fourth model – Range Rover Velar in India today. The newly launched SUV is inspired by Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover Sport.

New Range Rover Velar display
New Range Rover Velar is powered by 3 powertrain options – 2 diesel and 1 petrol options. The 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine which produces 177 bhp whereas the more powerful 3.0-litre V6 unit that can develop 296 bhp of max power figures. The petrol variant is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder engine that develops 247 bhp. Transmission duties are carried out by 8-speed automatic gearbox transmitting power to all the four wheels.

The newly launched SUV will feature dual 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 12.3-inch instrument cluster, two 8-inch screens on the rear seats and much more.

New Range Rover Velar will be offered in 4 variants – Standard, S, SE and HSE. The Land Rover range in the domestic market comprises Discovery Sport, Range Rover Evoque, All-New Discovery, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover.

New Range Rover Velar price
Range Rover Velar comes with a price tag of INR 78.83 lakh and goes up to INR 1.37 crore (ex-showroom India). The deliveries for the newly launched SUV will commence from next month onwards. It will compete against Audi Q7, BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE and the Volvo XC90.
