Rashami's new role

The whole world curses Rashmi Desai as Tapasya of Colors’ ‘Uttaran’ because the character she essays in the show is so cruel that the audience could hardly speak well about her. But we have brought an example to show how exactly Rashmi behaves off screen. Recently Rashmi’s make - up women’s mother was not feeling well and thus she was upset from the start of the day. When it was noticed by Rashmi that the girl was not in her proper condition, she asked her about the reason. She told Rashmi about her mom suffering from Malaria and thus Rashmi after listening to it asked her to leave the set and be with her mom. Later on her makeup was all done by her

Nandish Sandhu greets his fans

Under the celebrity appointment programme, TV star and the primary actor of the popular serial ‘Uttaran’ that features on Colors, Nandish Sandhu was linked with his huge fan base in Nashik over a coffee date at the Cinemax, City Centre Mall. Nandish did launch his community on SMS called GupShup some months back and he has now already managed to gather a little more than 10,000 fans. Now that’s an achievement! This starry event was kick started with a painting contest, right in the morning and was then followed by a quiz contest. About 5000 - 6000 people from diverse age groups participated in this particular competition and the ones who were interested in meeting the star, Nandish Sandhu were asked to simply send an SMS through the aforementioned SMS platform.

The finest and the most novel, SMS got a chance to win a coffee date with him along with distributing products such as coffee mugs to his other fans.

Sreeram on comedy ka Daily soap

Comedy Ka Daily Soap has various segments as the format of the show is loosely based on Movers and Shakers. The show has Krishna of Comedy Circus fame hosting it and every episode has a celeb guest performing. Sreeram the newly crowned winner of Indian Idol 5 would be the guest on the Monday episode. Sreeram will sing a song ‘Rehnuma’ from his upcoming debut album launching soon

Jai of Sholay’s Jai and Veeru Missing in Action

This week Star Plus’ Amul Chhote Ustaad witnessed a monumental history making event. After 35 very successful years, the legendary cast of Sholay came together as part of Chhote Ustaad. There was excitement in the air as the entire cast and crew of Chhote Ustaad had very meticulously prepared for this episode, from song selection to wardrobe everything was styled in the trade mark Sholay format. The host of the show Omi Vaidya and Abhaas Joshi welcomed Mr Ramesh Sippy the Director of Sholay along with Viju Khote (Kaalia) and Asrani (The Jailer) with a lot of love and respect. Dharmendraji, the handsome and legendry actor was greeted with a standing ovation. Needless to say that the show was a major success and full of fun as everyone cheered our little sholays with enthusiasm and vigour. But the absence of the other legend was felt heavily. The Jai of the Jai and Veeru duo was really missed. We do wonder why he wasn’t round. Could it possibly be that his commitment with another Hindi GEC kept him at bay? No matter Big B, hopefully the unstoppable duo of Jai and Veeru with get back together again
