Bigg Boss Season 11: Here Are The Winners Of The Past Ten Seasons Of Salman Khan's Show

The Bigg Boss Season 11 is all set to premiere tonight on Colors TV and the speculations are rife about the contestants who would be a part of the show this time around. Kamaal R Khan or KRK as he is popularly known as has already read out his list of inmates who would be gracing the Salman Khan hosted show. Bigg Boss has always come up with controversies that keep the audience glued to their TV sets, sometimes these acts become obnoxious like Swami Om’s pee throwing episode or Dolly Bindra and KRK’s outbursts in previous seasons. However, this season is still under wraps and the makers are providing no clues as to what the show will entail. The public sentiments and voting are always a crucial and integral part of the show but this time around there is a healthy mix of celebrities and commoners who will be seen vying to lay their hands on the trophy and the prize money.

This year some of the celebrities have been confirmed like Shilpa Shinde, Hiten Tejwani, Hina Khan, Vikas Gupta and Benafsha Soonawalla while there are twelve commoners who will be trying their luck in the Bigg Boss’s house. Bigg Boss has seen successful ten past stints on the Indian television and since Salman Khan came onboard the series has become immensely popular. As we are about to embark on a promised eventful show let’s look at the winners of the past seasons. 1.Rahul Roy – (2006-2007)

The actor who made a name for himself through films like Aashiqui and Junoon was the winner of the inaugural season. The first season was hosted by Arshad Warsi and Rahul Roy was a quiet contestant who won the show on his no-fight image. Rahul Roy since then has maintained a low profile.

2.Ashutosh Kaushik – (2008-2009)

The commoner who went on to win Roadies as well as Bigg Boss Season 2, Ashutosh Kaushik was liked for his rustic speech and relaxed attitude. He tried his hand at acting in movies like Zila Ghaziabad but failed to make a mark.

3.Vindu Dara Singh – (2009-2010)

Vindu Dara Singh won the trophy in the third installment of Bigg Boss. His name cropped up in the match-fixing scam of Indian Premier League and he was even arrested during the investigation. He made a few appearances on television post his win on shows like Comedy Nights Bachao and has started a production company.

4.Shweta Tiwari – (2010-2011)

Shweta Tiwari won the Bigg Boss in 2010 and took home a cool Rs 1 crore. The talented actress became the first female winner of Bigg Boss and was recently in news for delivering a baby boy with actor Abhinav Kohli.

5.Juhi Parmar – (2011-2012)

Juhi Parmar was the second television actress to have won the Bigg Boss trophy after her predecessor Shweta Tiwari. Juhi Parmar has made a comeback into television after getting married and giving birth to her daughter. Bigg Boss was her comeback into the Indian Television circuit.

6.Urvashi Dholakia – (2012-2013)

Urvashi Dholakia well-known vamp of the television won the Bigg Boss challenge in its sixth season. She was another star from the popular serial Kasautii Zindagii Kay after Shweta Tiwari to have won the prize.

7.Gauhar Khan – (2013-2014)

The talented actress and model kept up the spree of women winning the contest for the fourth year. She bagged the winner’s tag in 2013-2014. She was also known to be in a romantic relationship with her Bigg Boss House inmate Kushal Tandon but now the two have parted ways.

8.Gautam Gulati – (2014-2015)

Gautam Gulati finally broke the women’s spree at the Bigg Boss with his win in 2014-2015. He beat Karishma Tanna who was a very popular contestant and was running a close second.

9.Prince Narula – (2015-2016)

Prince Narula is another Roadies winner who clinched the Bigg Boss trophy as well. He had won the MTV Roadies X2 and MTV Splitsvilla 8 previously. He is currently gracing TV screens in his lead role in the serial Badho Bahu.

10.Manveer Gurjar – (2016-2017)

Manveer Gurjar won the last season of Bigg Boss 10 defeating reality star and VJ Bani J who finished as runner-up.

The next installment also has quite a few names which are very popular celebrities and it will be interesting to see which contestant shows enough resilience to last the show. Hiten Tejwani who is an immensely popular actor might have a better chance at winning the show compared to the other contestants especially if his wife Gauri Pradhan also makes an appearance as it is reportedly rumoured.
