Default Fried Potato Farls ( Irish Recipes)

Prep Time: 30 minutes or less | Cook Time: 30 minutes or less | Serves: 2
Breads » Other » Irish

Ingredients:

Potato farls are one of my favorite foods, and insanely versatile. They are pretty much just mashed potatos mixed with flour and then fried. They are also known as potato cake or potato bread and are great as a breakfast side dish. You can make sandwiches with them, they go great with omeletes, or you can just eat them by themselves.

Here's what you'll need for 4 good sized farls:

2 Potatos
About a teaspoon of melted ****er
1/2 cup of flour
Salt, to taste
Any sort of oil, between 2 or 3 teaspoons. I would recommend vegetable or peanut oil, but all I had on hand was olive oil.

Step 1:

First, peel and cut the potatos into 3 or 4 pieces and boil them in water for about 20 minutes.
