Dilip Joshi is an Indian film and television actor. He has started acting at the age of 12 and his first play was 'Aie Ranchhod Rangila'. He has appeared in number of serials as well as films. Currently, he is playing the role of Jethalal Champaklal Gada in the very popular show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on SAB TV.

Biography

Dilip Joshi was born on May 26, 1968 in Porbandar, Gujarat. He has studies in Wilson's College (Mumbai). Later, he joined N.M. Commerce College. During his B.Com study, he received Indian National Theatre's Best Actor award twice. He is a noted actor in the Gujarati theatre, appearing in successful Gujarati plays such as Bapu Tamey Kamal Kari and Jalsa Karo Jayantilal to name a few.

Career

Dilip has completed his degree in bachelor of commerce (B.Com.) from N.M. College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. While doing B.Com., he was awarded the INT (Indian National Theatre) best actor award twice. He has worked in many serials like Kabhi Yeh Kabhi Woh, Hum Sab Ek Hain, Shubh Mangal Savdhan, Yeh Duniya Hai Rangeen, Meri Biwi Wonderful and many more. He was also seen in Ashutosh Gowarikar's movie What's Your Raashee?.

Marriage/Wife

Dilip Joshi got married to Jaymala and has two kids, Son Ritwik and Daughter Neeyati. Dilip and his wife Jaymala were seen together at many events and award shows.
