• Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia (Femina Miss India Manipur 2018) became a household name as Meher in Choti Sarrdaarni, which marked her debut as an actress on the small screen. However, last month Nimrit decided to quit the show and move on. She says, “It was a great journey. Choti Sarrdaarni (CS) will always be my baby because this was the first set I ever stepped foot on. But with time and other factors in mind, I realised that change is the only constant.” In February 2021, Nimrit had complained of chronic fatigue, anxiety and burnout. Did she quit the show owing to health issues, given that last year, too, she had complained of chronic fatigue and anxiety? She replies, “Yes. I feel the medium we are a part of requires a certain kind of commitment. I have faced different situations, constantly pushed myself and given more than 100 per cent while shooting. But sometimes in life, it becomes important to choose yourself and your well-being. I have spent three years on the set and I wish I could have continued, but that wouldn’t have been fair to myself. I needed to take time off.”

• Choti Sardarni is a story of two lovers Manav and Meher who gets separated by Meher's family as Manav is brutally kiled by Meher's mother. It was earlier reported that Choti Sarrdaarni Actress Simran Kaur Sachdeva has been replaced in the show. However, the Actress has now been retained and have sorted out the differences with the producers.

Recently, the show was quite in buzz when it was reported that Actress Simran Sachdeva who played the role of Harleen Gill in show has been replaced. Simran spoke to a leading portal where she confirmed quitting the show and she even said that one of the producers misbehaved with her and they put in a lot of pressure on her. However, later on, Simran was retained in the show.

Now, as per the latest news by a leading portal, child artist Advit Sood, who played the role of Yuvi in the show has quit the show. The reports suggest that Advit's parents are not comfortable with the shooting situation post lockdown.
