Aigiri Nandini Nanditha Medhini is a very popular Durga Devi Stotram and is believed to be penned by Adi Shankracharya sometime around 810 AD. The song is sung to praise the Goddess Durga who ****s many demons in her fearsome avatar of Mahishasura Mardini who is depicted with ten arms adorned with different weapons and rides a lion.
4.Durga Chalisa
Durga Chalisa is the song that is sung to praise Goddess Durga and most devotees who are fasting or praying to the Goddess during Navratri read this bhajan to appease the goddess. This bhajan praises all the nine forms of the goddess and glorifies them.
5. Ya devi sarva bhuteshu – Devi Strotam
This devotional song exemplifies the Goddess Durga and salutes the divine power or shakti that is prevalent and inborn in all living beings. The bhajan praises the three flowing channels of energy that is Goddess Lakshmi, Goddess Parvati, and Goddess Saraswati.
