Default Navratri: Best Devotional Songs And Bhajans To Celebrate Durga Puja

Navratri: Best Devotional Songs And Bhajans To Celebrate Durga Puja
Navratri is one of the most popular and most awaited festivals of India. This festival is celebrated with great pomp and fervor all over India. In the eastern states of India like West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, and parts of North East like Assam and Tripura, the festival is celebrated as Durga Puja with a lot of feasting, revelry, and celebrations. The devotees of Goddess Durga who celebrate Durga Puja do not fast during the festival and unlike people from Maharashtra, Punjab, and Gujarat they don’t exactly abstain from eating meat but have a euphoric and gala time during the festival. However, what remains the same is the reverence and devotion with which people pray to the different manifestations of the goddess during the nine days. The eastern part of India that celebrates Durga Puja worships the goddess in her nine forms through pushpanjali every day and only then partake any food during the festival. It is believed that Goddess Durga has come to her maternal home with her children Saraswati, Ganesha, Lakshmi and Kartikeya and so must be pampered with good food and all the local delicacies, so this the reason that people in West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Assam do not fast during Navratri.
