India top Desi animated movies
 Toonpur ka superhero Produced by Kajol and Ajay Devgan, 'Toonpur ka superhero' is all set to release on 24th of December. Along with animated characters, the film features Ajay and Kajol in important roles, along with three children. The film is directed by Kireet Khurana. It is said that about 100 plus animation feature films are in various stages of production. Big banners like Yash raj films, Reliance Big Entertainment and UTV are making animated movies, on their own or with collaboration with big production houses like Dreamworks, Walt Disney and Pixar animations.  Ramayana Recently released, (during Dussehra) 'Ramayana' spoke about the story of Lord Rama in an animated form. The film, which was distributed by Warner Brothers, had Manoj Bajpai giving the voice to Rama, Juhi Chawla to Sita, Ashutosh Rana as Raavana and Mukesh Rishi as Hanuman. The film was directed by Chetan Desai.

 Hanuman Tauted as India’s own superhero, the mythological character Hanuman was lapped up by kids when it was released some time back. It is said that producers Sahara One Motion Pictures spent about 4,50,000,00 on this movie.

 Sultan the warrior 'Sultan the warrior' is a joint production by adlabs and Ocher productions, owned by Rajnikanth's daughter Saundarya. The 3-D animation is said to be exploiting Rajnikanth's mega star status. However, it's been ready for a while now and has been waiting for a release for a while now.
