T20 WC draws average TVR of 2.76
The Twenty20 World Cup has got an average TVR of 2.76 for the 18 matches till 13 June, despite India contests pulling in large audiences.
The India versus West Indies encounter in the Super Eight stage on 12 June, which also aired on DD, fetched a rating of 8.4 TVR. Doordarshan, though, got a rating of 1.42 TVR.
The match between India and Ireland on 10 June got a TVR of 5.4. DD got a rating of 0.81 TVR.
The India versus Bangladesh encounter on 6 June got a rating of 6.73. None of the non-India matches have touched a rating of 3.
A Super Eight match between South Africa and West Indies on 13 June only managed a 1.8 TVR. A New Zealand versus Pakistan match on the same day got a rating of 2.2 TVR.
