Taj Falaknuma Palace is a 400-year-old city that quickly emerged as India’s Silicon Valley; Taj Falaknuma Palace stands by at a minor duration of 30 minutes from Hyderabad airport. It was built by Nawab Vikar-ul-Umra, the former Prime Minister of Hyderabad and then bought by the Nizams. Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad is a rambling scorpion shaped mansion meaning mirror of the sky and fantasy of 19th century European style. Built in 1884 by then prime minister of Hyderabad, Sir Viqar ul-Umra, Falaknuma was better known as the residence of the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad and once richest man in the world, Sir Mir Osman Ali Khan Bahadur. It was restored in 2010 and opened as a luxury hotel by Taj Hotels and Resorts.
