PICS: Star Screen Awards winners

With five of her films releasing this year, it was only obvious that Priyanka Chopra would walk away with the award for the Best Actress. Sure enough the star won the trophy for her role in Fashion.

Hrithik Roshan won the Best Actor award for his film Jodhaa Akbar.

Jodhaa Akbar also won the award for the Best Film even as director Ashutosh Gowariker had to share the trophy with Neeraj Pandey the man behind A Wednesday.

A Wednesday, the sleeper hit of the year also won the Ramnath Goenka Award, which recognises movies that reflect the ideals of the Express Group, of which Screen is a part.

Aishwarya Rai won Best Actor in Popular Category (Female) for her role as Jodhaabai in Jodhaa Akbar. Her name was selected through the reader votes received via SMS and email.
