Television is a broad way to enter people’s life and from a very long time we have been watching these Tele actors play a very important role in our daily life. Many house wives relate themselves to the serial’s characters. But then also every TV character wants to become a film personality. They all try hard to get a small role in any film even if it’s a regional film; they are fine to do it because at least there they are able to get the lead role. Narayani Shastri
Narayani Shastri, who made it big in television although she never got a lead role to play had an important impact on television and she was everyone’s favourite. Narayani came to the spotlight by Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhie Bahu Thi… while playing Tulsi’s sister Kesar and then through the show Piya Ka Ghar.

Narayani became popular but like others, Narayani also always wanted to do a film. She was seen in a Marathi film by Sai Paranjpe called Pak Pak Pakaak, she played the character called Shalu. And now she has even bagged a Hindi film Na Ghar Ke Na Ghat Ke with Om Puri and Paresh Rawal. So let’s see if Narayani fits the big screen or not?

Shweta Tiwari

From the past two years now, Shweta is concentrating on her films. She has done two Bhojpuri films Hamar Sayian Hindustani and Kab Aibu Anganwa Hamar and she looked quite hot in these films and now she is doing a Punjabi film called Apni Boli Apna Des as a lead character.

Anita Hassanandani
Known as Kavya ki Anjali, Anita rocked the television screen for a long time. Not only she was the audience’s favourite, she was also one of Ekta Kapoor’s closest friend and favorite actress. So Ekta has always cast Anita in her films like Kuch Toh Hai, Yeh Dil, Krishna Cottage and she has even done many south Indian regional films and is a known face in the Tollywood industry and has acted in films like Nenunnau, Sreeram, Nuvvu Nenu, Santosha and many more.

Now Anita is only concentrating on her Regional films as she thinks Regional films have given her a platform for acting on the big screen.

Rashmi Desai
Rashmi Desai known more as Uttaran’s Tapasya is also a known face in the Bhojpuri industry. She has given hit films like Balma Bada Naadan, Kab Hoi Gawana Hamaar, Mai re Kar De Bedai Hamaar and Bambai Ki Laila Chapra Ka Chaila. Rashmi is quite different from other Tele actors as they all came on the small screen first and then got a chance on the big screen. Rashmi was selected for Uttaran when she was doing well in her Bhojpuri career.

Sayantani Ghosh
More known as Kakul from Ghar Ek Sapna has also done a few Bengali films. Her sweet face attracted the director to cast her. Sayantani Ghosh is often described as the ‘Bipasha Basu’ of television. She has done films with Bengali superstar Prasenjit called Shangharsho only after that, she got an offer from the television industry.
