Default Aap Ki Kachehri 2 to end prematurely, bcoz Low TRP

Aap Ki Kachcheri, that show that successfully replaced Kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahi thi, is said to have premature end to its second season. Low TRPs has allegedly resulted in the show ending before its stipulated period.

Unlike the first season where it aired at 10.30 pm, the switch to the 8.00 pm slot hasn’t worked in the show’s favour this time.

Aap ki kachcheri, hosted by former IPS officer, Dr. Kiran Bedi became the talk of the town for its novel concept and life changing verdicts. AKK was made for the common public who used this as platform to resolve their domestic woes. It registered sky-rocketing TRPs in its first season which incidentally paved way for the second but the shift in the time slot resulted in the landslide decrease in the viewership and a show with immense caliber is apparently all set to have a premature end to it.

According to reliable sources, AKK 2 will end in the first week of October, (approximately) 10 episodes before schedule.

“The show drew great TRPs in its inaugural season but couldn’t repeat its success in its second season. One must blame the channel’s ever-changing strategies. The show had developed a loyal viewership at its 10:30 pm slot during the first season but the channel took a risk of launching season two at 8:00 pm - a decision that resulted in its debacle and an abrupt end to a promising show”, said a source.

We sent text messages to producer Siddharth Basu and Star Plus’ Sr. creative director Anupama Mandloi but they didn’t reply. We also sent a mail to Dr. Kiran Bedi but she didn’t reply.
