Gambhir Holds Fort
Gambhir (97) continued to provide steel to the Indian innings with a well-paced knock. In his captain, MS Dhoni he found an able ally and together they provided many a reason to cheer stringing a 109-run stand.

Captain Cool At Work
All along in the tournament, Dhoni (91 not out) hadn't fired with the bat. But he came to the party when it mattered most and how. It was just that he hit the winning runs.
