Do not let water run waste while washing hands
Remember to turn off the tap while lathering the hands. Turn it on only for rinsing or store the required amount of water in a mug and use it to rinse.

Go to professional car wash
Washing the car yourself at your backyard may seem cheaper, but it wastes triple the amount of water compared with the amount gone down the drain in automated car wash. Allow your cars to be washed at car wash centers and save the water at your home for your daily use.

Wash full loads of laundry
Do not wash just couple of your clothes daily. Plan a day and wash the complete load of clothes together. Washing only full loads of laundry can save an average household more than 3,400 gallons of water each year.
