Sony Sab is all set to launch a spate of shows post IPL to strengthen its viewership. The latest one to be approved by the channel is Walkwaters’ next which will star Varun Badola , Kiku Sharda and Abhishek Sharma. Apparently, Sakshi Tanwar will also be seen in a cameo.
A source informs, “The title of the show is yet to be finalised. Varun, Kiku and Abhishek are playing detectives in the show, they will solve mysteries. Abhishek was seen as Hrithik Roshan’s younger brother in
Kaho Na Pyaar Hai . Currently, we are shooting a song sequence where the trio is performing on the song from the film,
Amar Akbar Anthony. Sakshi will have a cameo in the show. She will play a rich and royal lady who fears the theft of her expensive necklace worth a fortune. And so she approaches the three detectives to help her nab the suspect. The show will launch sometime post IPL.”
Both Badola and Sharda refused to comment. We also texted Tanwar but she didn’t revert.
Gurudev Bhalla, VP, Walkwaters’ Productions too declined to comment.
