COLORS' Balika Vadhu will see a confident Jagya get back to college, to fight his own battle with the seniors..


COLORS' Balika Vadhu saw the dramatic turnaround when Jagya (Shashank Vyas) was ragged by his seniors in college, so much so that it hurt his mental stability. The guy also contemplated suicide, and that is when his friend Gauri (Anjum Farooki) comes as the saviour.

As per the ongoing track, Jagdish has come home but is still in a traumatised state. And as usual, Dadisa (Surekha Sikri) holds Anandi (Pratyusha Banerjee) responsible for Jagya's state, and does not allow Anandi to meet her hubby.

According to our source, "The depressed Jagya will soon get over the setback and become normal. Even when Dadisa has decided not to send him back to the college again, Jagya decides to go back and teach his seniors a fitting lesson. Not only this, he takes this as a challenge to do well in his college. With the help of Gauri, he gets back at the people who harmed him earlier".

Now get ready to see Jagya as it is revenge time on Balika Vadhu..

Controversies:
  • In 2009, the series was criticized in Indian Parliament, prompting the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to suspend its telecast and condemn the series for portraying child marriage in contravention of Indian constitutional law.
  • Balika Vadhu opened to mixed reviews from critics. While some appreciated the series for portraying the issues of child marriage, which had not been shown before on Indian television, others criticised it for glorifying child marriage
