Aparajito
Cinematographer Subrata Mitra, who made his debut with Satyajit Ray had an important influence on cinematography across the world. One of his most important techniques was 'bounce lighting'. He recreated the effect of daylight on sets and used this technique in Satyajit's 'Aparajito' (1956).

My Dear Kuttichathan
The Malayalam children's film 'My Dear Kuttichathan' was the first Indian movie to be made in 3D. The film was later remade in Hindi as 'Chhota Chetan'.

Bulbul-E-Paristan
This film gives us the first female director in India. Fatima Begum was an actress who explored writing, production and direction. She continued working till her last film in 1938, 'Duniya Kya Hai?'.

Roadside Romeo
Yash Raj Films produced the first Indian animation 3D film. 'Roadside Romeo' had A-list actors like Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor giving their voice for its main characters.
