Robot: Endhiran
Banu designed Rajinikanth's look in 'Robot: Endhiran'. Banu initially suggested that prosthetic makeup be used for Rajini's robot look but he refused saying that he has no patience to sit for a 4 to 5 hour long makeup session. Banu then designed a mask for the good Chitti and also the evil one.

Paa
Amitabh Bachchan's prosthetic makeup for 'Paa' was done by Hollywood's Christien Tinsley (Of The Passion Of The Christ, Catwoman fame) and Dominie Till (The Lord Of The Rings trilogy). It is said that at one occasion Amitabh had to begin his make-up session at 2 am for a 6 am shoot. And that night he barely slept for an hour followed by a day long shoot.
