About the show, Season Bigg Boss 3:

• Bigg Boss 3 is the third season of the Indian reality TV programme Bigg Boss.
• It began airing on 4 October 2009 on Colors with Amitabh Bachchan as the host and aired for 84 days concluding on 26 December 2009.
• Vindu Dara Singh won the show while Pravesh Rana was declared the first runner-up and Poonam Dhillon was declared the second runner-up.
  
• Vindu was awarded with a prize money of INR 10 million.
  
• He was also announced the most stylish and bold contestant and won a Chevrolet Cruze.
  
• This season, the house was located the city of Lonavla in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Amitabh Bachchan came every Fridays and Saturdays.

• Ismail Darbar – Singer, music director. He is known for directing the songs for the hit film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam starring Aishwarya Rai, Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan. Later he also produced the music of the films Devdas and Shakti: The Power.
• Sherlyn Chopra – Model, actress and Playboy playmate. She is a Bollywood actress who appeared in films like Dosti: Friends Forever and Raqeeb in an item song. She also was crowned Miss Andhra in 1999.
• Kamal Rashid Khan – Director. He got fame from movie 'Desh-Drohi'. He was a Bhojpuri Actor.He is known for his controversial statements on celebrities.
• Poonam Dhillon – TV and film actress. She is a veteran Bollywood actress who appeared in many yesteryear films like Kabhi Ajnabi The, Qayamat and Main Aur Mera Haathi. She appeared in the hit Zee TV show Kittie Party.
• Bakhtiyaar Irani – Television actor. He is known for his role of Shiv in Lo Ho Gayi Pooja Iss Ghar Ki along with Sana Saeed. He also participated in Nach Baliye with Tanaaz.
• Tannaz Irani – Actress, model. She is the wife of co contestant Bhakhtiyaar. She has appeared in many shows like Baa Bahoo Aur Baby and Nach Baliye. She also was seen in films like Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai and Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon and 36 China Town.
• Vindu Dara Singh – Actor, son of wrestler and actor Dara Singh. He is an actor who has been in films like Partner and Kambakkht Ishq. He is married to model Dina Umarova and earlier was married to actress Farah Naaz.
• Aditi Gowitrikar – Actress, model, doctor. She is known for participating and becoming Miss World 2001 and also is a former Gladrag Champion who completed her MBBS doctor by education. She has appeared in films like Paheli and shows like Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi.
• Jaya Sawant – Rakhi Sawant's mother.
• Shamita Shetty – Film actress, model and Shilpa Shetty's sister. She is known for her role in Mohabbatein as Ishika. She later appeared in films like Saathiya in song Choli Pe Choli, Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai in song Sharara Sharara and Cash.
• Claudia Ciesla – Model and Bollywood actress. She is actress from Germany who has appeared in films like Karma. She later became popular for appearing in the song Balma in film Khiladi 786 after her appearance on Bigg Boss.
• Rohit Verma – Fashion designer. He had decided to participate in Big Boss Season 3 which will help to be more popular among the common people of India. He also was seen in the film Fashion along with Diandra Soares.

Ismail Darbar

Ismail Darbar is a composer of music for Indian films also known as an Indian film music director.
Career



He is from Surat, Gujarat. Ismail Darbar worked for several years as a session violinist for leading music directors Laxmikant Pyarelal, Kalyanji Anandji, Bappi Lahiri, Rajesh Roshan, Anand-Milind, Nadeem-Shravan, Jatin-Lalit and even A.R.Rahman. Finally he got the break after so many years with the film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Later on his music in both 'Tera Jadoo Chal Gaya' and 'Devdas' was highly acclaimed. He played violin^] for Jatin-Lalit in the movie Khamoshi: The Musical.

Ismail Darbar was one of the four judges on Zee TV's Indian musical program Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005. The other judges were Jatin-Lalit, Aadesh Shrivastava and Himesh Reshamiyya.

He was one of the four judges on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005^[2] and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007.

He is one of the three judges for Amul Star Voice of India 2.
Ismail Darbar also came up with a music album called Rasiya Saajan which was beautifully composed and directed by noted music video director S Ramachandran.

Ismail Darbar is the first guest to be inducted into the Bigg Boss (Season 3) on Colors.

Early life

• Born April 18, 1963 in Kanpur, India to Amrik Singh Dhillon, an aeronautical engineer in the Indian Armed Forces and Gurcharan Kaur Dhillon, Poonam Dhillon did her schooling from Carmel Convent High School, Chandigarh, India.

Career

• She first gained fame when she was crowned the beauty queen title of being a poonam. Femina "Miss Young India" at 16.
• Famous director Yash Chopra noticed her and gave her a romantic role in the star-studded hit film Trishul (1978) where the famous song "Gapoochi Gapoochi gum gum" was picturized on her. Enthralled by her performance, Yash Chopra gave her the title role in film Noorie (1979), which he produced. The film became a major hit and earned Poonam a Filmfare nomination as Best Actress.^[3] It also catapulted her to the ranks of upcoming heroines in the late seventies and early eighties.
• Subsequently she did about 90 films in Hindi like Sohni Mahiwal, Red Rose, Teri Kasam, Dard, Nishana, Yeh Vada Raha, Samunder, Romance, Kasam, Sitamgar, etc.
• She did a cameo in the hit film Judai (1996) as a favor to producer Boney Kapoor after Juhi Chawla dropped out.
