Default Geeta Kapoor and Jay Bhanushali injured...

Geeta Kapoor and Jay Bhanushali injured during the rehearsals of Zee TV's DID Doubles Grand Finale!!!

Zee TV's DID Doubles has always been a surprise package for all, including the judges, with the shocker eliminations and the injuries that it instills, and the show kept the surprises till its end.

The latest and the unfortunate news is that Jay Bhanushali and Geeta Kapoor got injured during the finale shoot of DID Doubles.

A source informs "Unlike the earlier seasons, the finale of DID Doubles this time around is not live and is pre-shot. Geeta who was checking the final technical rehearsals had an unfortunate fall following a slip that led to a leg injury. Geeta, as we all are aware, is still recovering from the back injury which she had got during the auditions. This fall further aggravated her back too".

And we also came to know that along with Geeta, the show host Jay Bhanushali also suffered an injury while rehearsing for the Grand Finale.

"Jay, who will be seen performing in the finale, injured his leg after a landing got wrong following a flip stunt and has his leg bandaged now", adds source.

We contacted Geeta and she refused to comment anything about the injury..

wishes both Geeta and Jay a speedy recovery.

DID Doubles Grand Finale will be aired tonight at 9:30 on Zee TV.

LUX Dance India Dance Doubles or DID Doubles is the third season of the reality dance show Dance India Dance (for ages 15 to 25) that airs on the Indian satellite television channel Zee TV. The show has been produced by UTV Software Communications and has become India's largest dance-based reality show. The show is choreographed by some of the most popular Indian choreographers, such as Marzi Pestonji, Rajeev Surti and Geeta Kapoor. Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty is the grandmaster of the show. Gear Up for Grand Finale of Lux Dance India Dance Doubles

The top 4 finalists of Lux DID Doubles are out … and the race to the Grand finale on Saturday, 9th April has begun! The big question now is - Who will walk away with the Sunehri Taqdeer Ki Topi?

The 4 hot contenders for the biggest honour in the field of dance include Kolkata boys Vivek-Saurabh, Mumbai duo Amit & Falon, Cornell from Mangalore who teamed up with Kolkata girl Sonali and Vikram of Pune who paired up with Niharika of Jaipur.

Cornell and Sonali are complete sweethearts. Sonali is a hardcore Bengali foodie who loves to eat … when she came to this platform, she was pleasantly plump and used to constantly tuck into Eilish Maachh and Maachher Jhol and slender, wiry Cornell had a tough time lifting her. Today, she’s shed her baby fat and the two are a delightful vision as they perform the smoothest of lifts. The audience has been very kind to the duo with their votes. Our fingers are crossed for the Grand Finale!

Vikram and Niharika - Viku and Niku, as we know them, have been eliminated and then fought their way back into the show as a wild card entry. Success, they say, is twice as sweet when one faces a grueling struggle to achieve it. Vikram has foregone precious time with his newly born baby boy. His wife delivered their little prince in the course of this season of Dance India Dance. Niharika has groomed herself and evolved phenomenally as a dancer ever since she stepped onto this platform. I wish them the very best as they reach out to the sunehri taqdeer ki topi!

But with talent like Amit-Falon and Saurabh-Vivek in my team, I have nothing to worry about. Amit & Falon have received the highest number of Grand Salutes from Grand Master Mithun Da across all seasons of Dance India Dance. And Saurabh-Vivek, my Changu Mangu truly embody the never-say-die spirit. They have been nominated for elimination in every single episode yet bounced back with vigor. I wish my talented kids the very best for the Grand Finale!”

Speaking of the Final 4, Grand Master Mithun Da said, “At this stage, everybody is a winner! It takes lot of hard work, determination and perseverance to reach this stage and from now on it will just be a battle of nerves. May the best couple win!”

To find out which of these promising couples will create history at the Grand Finale and who amongst them will outshine the rest and grab the coveted Sunehri Taqdeer Ki Topi, tune in to the Grand Finale of Lux DID Doubles on Saturday, 9th April at 8 PM only on Zee TV!
