Pretty and talented Zee TV’s Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar, Rini Chandra, had come all prepared with a bagful of shagun items necessary to conduct a wedding. A huge fan of Ranbir Kapoor, Rini proposed to him when he made an appearance as a celebrity guest along with Priyanka Chopra to promote their latest flick, Anjaana Anjaani. The dashing Ranbir who had no intention of leaving a lady at the altar, ran onto the stage and accepted the charming young lady’s proposal, much to the audience and Rini’s delight. And, Ranbir got married to her in such a jiffy before she could even wink an eye.

Infact, Priyanka had already set a precedent of getting married to Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs contestant Swarit earlier this year. She was overheard welcoming Ranbir to the family saying “Ye toh mera sasural hai, meri pehla shaadi bhi yahi par hui thi.” What followed was a totally filmy ishtyle wedding with director Siddharth Anand & all the mentors joining in to marry off the Anjaana and Anjaani. Rini’s kanyadaan was done by none other than Piggy Chops, who was in absolute raptures in getting her co-star married into the same family that was present at her own wedding. So excited were the newly married couple to be off on their honeymoon that they had to be stopped by Priyanka and brought back to the set. Said Piggy chops , ““ arrreee…honeymoon ke liye itni jaldi kya hai…show khatam karke phir chale jaana…”.

Priyanka Chopra is well known in the Indian film industry for her beauty and more recently for taking Bollywood by storm with her versatility as an actress, having delivered one smash hit after another. What many don’t know is the fact that this lissome lass is also a veritable powerhouse when it comes to singing a tune. While on Zee TV’s Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa to promote her upcoming Anjaana Anjaani with co star Ranbir Kapoor and director Siddharth Anand, music directors Vishal – Shekar requested the beauty to sing the song “Tinka Tinka” .

A little known fact is that way back in 2005, during the making of Karam, our Piggy Chops had sung the playback for the track “Tinka Tinka”. But since the young lass was just finding her feet as an actress

Mumbai, Dec 25 (IANS) After nineteen weeks of rigorous training and fierce competition, Patiala's Kamal Khan was declared the winner of Zee TV's 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar' Saturday.


Khan beat Bishakh Jyoti of Kolkata and Abhilasha Chellum of Mumbai to win the title of singing superstar in the grand finale at Andheri Sports complex here. He also walked away with the newly-launched Grande

MK II car and a Hero Honda ZMR bike.

The finale saw a melange of western, opera, ghazal and classical songs. It saw ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali singing hits like 'Dil Yeh Pagal Dil' and 'Hungama Kyun Hai Barpa' with Ranjeet Rajwada, who was also a contestant on the show.



Adding to the excitement was the hip hop fusion act by choreographer Rajiv Surthi who is set to be on the judges panel with Geeta Kapoor and Marzi Pestonji in dance reality show 'DID Doubles' that replaces the show.



Mentor Daler Mehndi entertained with his songs like 'Tunak Tunak' 'Zor ka Jhatka'. He was joined by Vishal and Shekhar, who sang hit songs from their films 'Tees Maar Khan', 'Anjana Anjaani' and 'I Hate Luv Storys'.

Mika also wowed the audience with 'Ibne Batuta', 'Mauja hi Mauja' and 'Dhano'.



Sajid-Wajid captivated the crowd with their hit numbers from 'Dabangg' and 'Wanted'.

The show also saw the presence of Alka Yagnik, Suresh Wadekar, Jagjit Singh, Udit Narayan, Lalit Pandit, Mithun Chakraborty and Penaz Masani.

Finale Episodes of MasterChef India and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar to burn your TV screens this Christmas.

On the evening of Christmas day, 25^th December, India’s two leading Hindi GECs Star Plus and Zee TV are all set to enthrall the viewers with the grand finale episodes of their flagship reality shows MasterChef India and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar respectively. Star Plus will telecast the grand finale episode of MasterChef India at 9 pm while Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar finale will start at 8 pm on Zee TV.

Both the channels have lined up a number of celebrities to add more spark to their shows.

The spicy show MasterChef India will get a little extra tadka with revelation of the first MasterChef of the country in the presence of the star cast of Tees Maar Khan including the witty brothers Raghu and Rajiv Laxman along with the beautiful Sheila – Katrina Kaif, the talented director Farah Khan and of course versatile host and judge Akshay Kumar.

On the other hand, grand event of Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar will see the presence of two of the biggest musical stalwarts – Ghazal maestro Ustaad Ghulam Ali Khan and Mika Singh.

Touted as the biggest musical reality show of the Entertainment Industry, this season’s star-studded soiree will give the audience a taste of chartbusting Bollywood hits coupled with some western renditions, soulful Ghazals along with some fine blend of Sufi music to make the evening different yet divine!

One of the greatest names among contemporary Ghazal singers – who follows a blend of Ustad Barkat Ali and Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, Ustaad Ghulam Ali Khan will be a part of the celebrations only because of this rare young singing talent named Ranjeet Rajwada who has enthralled TV audiences all over the world. Needless to say, Ranjeet is extremely elated that he will be sharing the stage with the God of Ghazal!
