Nakuul Mehta is an Indian actor popular on television. He made his bollywood debut with the flick Haal-e-dil. He did few music videos too and was associated with theatre for a long time. He has also appeared in the short film Avant Garde, which was showcased at film festival across the globe. He shot to fame for playing the role of Aditya in Star Plus' popular series Pyaar Ka Dard Hai..Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara. Currently, he is seen in the daily soap "Ishqbaaaz". Recently, he has been awarded the Best Actor award at the UK Asian Viewers Television Awards 2016.

Biography

Nakuul Mehta was born on 17 January 1983 in Udaipur, Rajasthan into a Royal Family. He holds a Master's degree in Commerce from the Mumbai University. He is trained in different dance forms like Jazz, Hip hop, break, folk, salsa and contemporary. He is a trained Ballroom dancer having learnt under the India's foremost Ballroom teacher Sandip Soparrkar. He represented the state of Maharashatra in the AIDSF (All India Dance Sport Federation) championship in June 2011 and a SILVER medalist in the Latin Ballroom Category (rumba) and is a GOLD medal winner in the Standard Ballroom category (waltz).

Career

Nakuul's tryst with showbiz happened in college days itself when he was spotted by director Satish Kaushik and was casted in a soft-drink advertisement. He was seen with King Khan in the Clinic All Clear ad.

Thereafter, there was no looking back for Nakuul, who went on to do fifty commercials before Bollywood producer Kumar Mangat spotted him and called him for an audition of a film exclusively designed to launch his daughter Amita Pathak.
