Default Full Details - Hardeep Singh Kohli (Celebrity Big Brother 2018)

Comic, Radio and TV presenter Hardeep Singh Kohli

Here's a look at the official Celebrity Big Brother 2018 line up of housemates following tonight's live launch.

This evening saw Celebrity Big Brother's new 'Eye Of The Storm' series begin
Host Emma Willis introduced us to the brand new cast of celebrity (sort of) contestants.
Channel 5 said of the new twist: "All of the celebrity names entering the house will have been caught up in their own media storm.
"And now, the celebrities are once again putting themselves in the public eye and this time they have a lot to prove."
First in was Hollywood actress Kirstie Alley followed by Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas and headline grabbing footballer Jermaine Pennant.

Next into the house were model Chloe Ayling, 'Human Ken Doll' Rodrigo Alves, The Only Way Is Es*** star Dan Osborne and Gabby Allen, a Love Islander from Season 3 in 2017.
Joining the cast next were Comic, Radio and TV presenter Hardeep Singh Kohli, Married At First Sight star Ben Jardine, Emmerdale actress Roxanne Pallet and TV psychic Sally Morgan.
Rounding off the line up are American reality TV personality Natalie Nunn and Rogue trader Nick Leeson.
Host Emma said of the cast: "When I heard a few of the names of the celebs coming on this year my jaw hit the floor! I think the theme is interesting because it is the eye of the storm so from what I believe we will see people who themselves have been in the eye of the storm be that either on the receiving or giving end.
"What will be really interesting is seeing the other side of the stories that we’ve not heard before."
Celebrity Big Brother 2018 airs nightly on Channel 5.
Bit On The Side will air weeknights with Rylan Clark-Neal straight after the main show.

Hardeep was suspended by the BBC in 2009 for six months amid claims of 'inappropriate behaviour' and his contract was never renewed by the channel.
The reports come after Hardeep took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce that he was cancelling the rest of his performances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, saying that a 'last minute TV project' had come up.

Surprising: Sources told The Sun that the 49-year-old was landed by bosses at the last minute to join the lineup, just hours before the live launch show

Over: Hardeep was suspended from his job as a reporter for The One Show in 2009 following claims of 'inappropriate behaviour' by a researcher

It's back! The news comes just hours before Celebrity Big Brother was set to return, hosted by Emma Willis (above), alongside Rylan Clark-Neal as presenter of sister show Bit On The Side

Hardeep was a presenter for The One Show until his suspension in 2009, after he was accused of 'inappropriate behaviour' by a researcher.
A spokeswoman for the BBC said at the time: 'Producers of The One Show received a complaint regarding Hardeep's behaviour towards a production colleague.
'She made no formal complaint and has acknowledged that One Show management took the issue extremely seriously.

Rough ride: While Hardeep served out his six month suspension he has allegedly struggled to land work since

'He was reprimanded and immediately apologised. He agreed to take some time away from the show to reflect on his behaviour. This leave of absence has been agreed to be six months.'
Despite serving out his suspension, Hardeep's contract was not renewed with the BBC, and he has allegedly struggle to land work since.
He has also made appearances on the BAFTA-winning It'll Never Work, Meet The Magoons, Celebrity Masterchef in 2006, a celebrity edition of The Apprentice and as a host of New British Kitchen with John Torode on UKTV.
