The grand plans of Laali and Shekhar’s marriage in Agle Janam have come to a standstill due to ongoing political chaos in Nepal.
An Indya source tells us, "Earlier the channel and the production house were to shoot this wedding sequence at the Pashupatinath Temple.
However, they later decided to shoot the same in some other temple in Nepal, as they did not get adequate permissions to shoot at the famous Pashupatinath temple due to security reasons.
Therefore, we later shot in Pokhra but there was also some political tension, which resulted in the halt of the shooting as we were not ready to take up any risk.”
We spoke with the lead actor Abhishek Rawat aka Shekhar, “Yes we are back from Nepal, well overall it was a nice experience shooting in Nepal except the wedding sequence which we couldn’t shoot completely as there were some local political crisis which resulted in close down of Nepal for three days and for us, three days were very important and so the remaining half of the wedding sequence will be shot in Mumbai now.”
As per the script, Shekhar and Laali will get married amidst a lot of chaos created by Ranvijay (Sachal Tyagi) to stop the marriage from happening. The channel had also planned for a very romantic consummation sequence between the protagonists after marriage in Nepal.
