KKR Team Squad For IPL 2018: Final List of Kolkata Knight Riders Players After Auctio
New Delhi: Kolkata Knight Riders’ choice of players proved that the franchise was most calculative at IPL 2018 auction. KKR, which is owned by actor Shah Rukh Khan, made sure that they have the right composure and balance as they picked some of the most talented players, which include both, experienced players as well as youngsters with less or no IPL experience.
KKR retained West Indian superstars Andre Russell and Sunil Narine but failed to keep their skipper Gautam Gambhir in the squad, who was sold to Delhi Daredevils. The Kolkata based franchise bought Australian batsman Chris Lynn and fast bowler Mitchell Starc for Rs9.6 crore and Rs 9.4 crore respectively. Two-time champions, KKR also bought all-rounder young Kamlesh Nagarkoti, who is dubbed as India’s next bowling sensation as he bowls consistently in excess of 145kph.
