Lindsay Lohan
A list of Bollywood and Hollywood stars who spent time in prison. Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan began her 90-day jail sentence in Los Angeles on July 21. She was charged for violating her probation on two 2007 drunk-driving and cocaine possession charges. She will serve her jail time alone in a 12 ft by 8 ft cell for her own safety.

The Wanted star was himself wanted once by the Bishnoi community, who filed a complaint with cops that the star had hunted blackbucks (endangered species protected by the community) while shooting 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' in Rajasthan. Salman was arrested in Jodhpur in 2007 and sent to jail.

Sanjay Dutt
Apna Munnabhai had to spend 18 months in jail for possession of arms under the now-defunct Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (TADA) Act. The actor was arrested after the Mumbai blasts in 1993 for possession of an AK/47 rifle. Sanjay Dutt fought a long legal battle, to be finally acquitted of terror charges recently.

The Italian actress served nearly three weeks in prison in 1982 for tax evasion.
