I somehow liked
Aditi Govitrikar. She had consistency, dignity and a keen sense of justice. She did not want to be dominated by another woman. She rather wanted to be friendly with everyone. In the beginning, she did not open up. She rather kept a very strict face and an attitude of
Touch Me Not . She was comfortable in the company of
Shamita Shetty and
Tanaaz who did not try to tell her what was right and what was not. Aditi was too independent for that sort of thing. Perhaps
Poonam’s tendency to be a leader made Aditi see red. Poonam sensed this and nominated her in the beginning episodes. Did
Aditi see a formidable rival in
Poonam Dhillon?
And then
Poonam Dhillon openly opted for the
Vindu camp.
Poonam’ s fight with
KRK and
Vindu over serving etiquette was the turning point. Poonam was not supported wholeheartedly by the girls. This might have led her to play it against the girls especially
Tanaaz and then
Aditi. And then
Rohit filled
Poonam’s ears about how
Tanaaz said so many things against her.
Tanaaz was a very strong contender and they had to remove her somehow.
Poonam is yesterday’s girl while Tanaaz is today’s girl and definitely more popular. Thus Tanaaz was a threat to everybody in the house.
Poor Tanaaz was handicapped by her nagging husband. It is to her credit that she sticks to such a person till date. But for how long?
Then the CDs were shown where plotters were shown plotting without any fear.
Vindu did not care,
Raju became depressed,
Rohit became a nervous wreck. But Bigboss showed undue favour by not including
Poonam and
Claudia who were also quite active in plotting and evicting. And
Pravesh entered changing equations and
Claudia became the target for
Poonam Vindu camp and also
Bakthiyar camp. Claudia deserved this but her dilemma is quite understandable.
Coming to Poonam Aditi politics, the relationship went from bad to worse. While
Poonam was made a doctor in the rehab episodes,
Aditi who is a real doctor was first made a patient and then a nurse. And when
Poonam refused to give up being the first leader who could become a finalist on successful completion of the task, an open war was declared.
Poonam went to jail nursing a lot of grievances and
Vindu took advantage of that to once again to form a group.
Poonam ‘s comment about
Tanaaz leaving a young child only made matters worse between her and the
Bakthiyar couple. And her comment that
Claudia is a foreigner and thus her winning is not ok made her more unpopular. And her lecture about Indian values was not taken well. It was pointed out by
Aditi that in that case how
Poonam’s children had become US citizens. But this argument of
Aditi has no basis as most Indians having
US citizenship still care for Indian values.
Between
Bakthiyar and
Aditi, Aditi got less votes. Why
Maharashtrians who supported the first Indian Idol
Abhijeet Sawant let
Aditi down? While
Rakhi Sawant is the dontcare face of Maharashtrians,
Aditi is the dignified face of Maharashtrians.
Aditi will be remembered for her dignity and consistency.
