Bigg Boss has asked the viewers to pick their inmates this season. Well, one doesn’t know whether the viewers have SMSed their request but if the ardent couch potatoes would have their wish they will like the some of the famous characters in Indian television’s history to be on the show.


Buzz goes that seasoned actress Loveleen Mishra, who played Chutki in the 1984 hit show Hum log, is said to be entering the third season of Bigg Boss. Evergreen actress Poonam Dhillon too is said have received the offer but it’s no sure whether she’s accepted it.


Says a source, “Hum log was one of the first and very successful serials of Indian television. The production and the channel wanted one of the artists to be in the show. Mishra was approached and she’s said to have signed for it. Among the yesteryear actresses, Poonam Dhillon has also been offered but it’s not clear whether she’s accepted it.”


Both Loveleen Mishra and Poonam Dhillon remained unavailable for comment.


Post Hum log, Loveleen Mishra hasn’t done much TV. Mishra has acted in films like Lions of Punjab presents, Black Friday and Yuva.


Dhillon has been a regular feature in films and TV. She married film producer Ashok Thakeria in 1988, with whom she has two children, son Anmol and daughter Paloma. The marriage ended in 1997.
