Shoot On Sight
Directed by Jag Mundhra, the film stars Naseeruddin Shah and Om Puri. The film is based on 'Operation Kratos' which was initiated after the London bombings on 7th July 2005. 'Operation Kratos' was a policy to shoot on sight anyone the police doubted to be a suicide bomber. On July 7th, London saw a series of suicide bombings on the public transport. The police somehow figured out the terrorists and cornered them. They followed a suspect Jean Charles de Menezes who got on the tube station. Fearing that he was one of the suicide bombers, the Metropolitan police shot seven bullets directly on his head. Later on, it was confirmed that he was an innocent and was in no way connected to the bombings. Satya
This Ram Gopal Varma movie was a collaboration of characters he met in some point of his life. Some who belonged to the underworld and some who didn't. All the characters fell into place as the story was created. All though the story was fictional, the characters were real and it was their life that defined each one's character. Kallu Mama's character was inspired from a gangster he met at the bar, Satya's character was based on someone who Varma met at the court and told Ramu his story.

Accident on Hill Road
The film starring Celina Jaitley and Farooq Sheikh was inspired from an incident (read accident) that took place in US. Celina's character was based on a woman named Chante Jawan Mallard who was convicted for her role in the death of a 37-year-old homeless man, Gregory Glen Biggs. Mallard was driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol and accidentally struck Gregory who got stuck in the windshield bleeding. In stead of giving him medical attention she took the car to her garage and later disposed the body making it seem like an accident along with some friends. The movie is entirely based on this accident.
