2010 saw a new trend. Many bollywood stars chose to break news, good and not so good on social networking sites.

Actress and co-owner of IPL team Kings XI Punjab, Preity Zinta openly asked for support for her IPL team while fighting the BCCI decision to not let her team play in the next IPL tournament. Recently, the High Court passed it's judgment in Kings Punjab XIs' favour.
