Kolkata secured the second position in the Sa Re Ga Ma Mega Challenge finals. It joins Maharashtra in the finals. The grand finale of the show would mark the completion of 1000 episodes of Zee TV's flagship reality show.
The second semi- finals was between Kolkata and Assam A source informs, "This weekend, the show will air the semi-finals between Kolkata and Assam. Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan were the celebrity judges for the episode. They unanimously felt that Kolkata's performance was better than Assam. So now Kolkata will fight against Maharashtra in the finals."
