Dhulokona tops the TRP chart; Gaatchora out of top 5 race

• The latest TRP report is out and this week, there is a change in the positions of daily soaps. While ‘Dhulokona’ continues to rule the TRP chart this week too, ‘Mithai’ and ‘Gaatchora’ couldn’t show wonder. On the other hand, relatively new shows have scored well in terms of viewership. Here’s a quick look.
• Indrasish Roy and Manali Manisha Dey starrer ‘Dhulokona’ has become the most-watched daily soap; thanks to the back-to-back twists and the latest tweak in the storyline because of Titir’s presence in Lalan-Phuljhuri’s life. Meanwhile, the makers aren’t shying away from adding more masala to the ongoing track by introducing new characters. The second spot is bagged by ‘Anurager Chowwa’, which is the remake of Malayalam TV show ‘Karuthamuthu’ that has been remade into many other languages and the Telugu one, (‘Karthika Deepam) turns out to be a smash hit. The third spot is bagged by the newly launched TV show ‘Jagaddhatri’. This show is scoring well since its launch.
• ‘Gouri Elo’ which earlier dominated the top most spot on TRP charts earlier, has slipped down to fourth position. ‘Alta Phoring’, which recently welcomed actor Abhishek Bose in a prominent role, has bagged the fifth spot. Interestingly, ‘Madhabilata’ and ‘Ekka Dokka’ scored quite well this time. Both have jointly bagged sixth spot. Gourab Chatterjee and Solanki Roy starrer ‘Gaatchora’ is in seventh spot this week. The latest twists and turns couldn’t work in favour of this multi-starrer show it seems. 'Mithai' has slipped down to tenth spot.
