After the success of Dance India Dance, Zee TV plans to launch the second season of the dance reality show soon. Auditions have already started and, according to the channel, this show will be improved.
We spoke to Jay Bhanushali, who will host the show: “The auditions are taking place in North and Western India; the auditions that took place in Baroda a few days ago were mind-blowing and got such a good response. I the second season will be bigger than the first one.” The next auditions will take place in Delhi, starting October 31. “After looking at the auditions in Baroda, I am sure the numbers will be more in Delhi.”
Shooting for the show will start sometime in December and the show will most probably air in the first week of December. The judges will be the same – Geeta Kapoor, Remo D’souza and Terrence Lewis. The show will be co-hosted by Soumya Tondon. There are also rumours that Indian ace spinner Harbhajan Singh will turn producer for the show.
