Default 2022-2023 Shark Tank India

Latest Update:
  • Today Episode:
  • Peyush Bansal shocks the Sharks by handing a blank cheque to the entrepreneur and revealing that he is ready to give more than the asked amount and equity at his valuation. The entrepreneurs, who are coming to Shark Tank India Season 2 to get funding for their enterprises, have some amazing ideas. A new promo has left the viewers stunned as all the Sharks are fighting to invest in the business while Peyush is ready to give a blank cheque to the founder to put whatever amount he wants and his choice of valuation.
  • In the promo we saw, all of the sharks' are making an open offer to an entrepreneur. The promo starts with Peyush telling the pitcher, "You had come for Rs 50 lakhs. Aapko Rs 1 cr chahiye ya 2 cr chahiye, aap vo lelo aur aapki value pe, It has never happened before, people are offering you an open offer," Aman says. Peyush even provides the entrepreneur with a blank check. The promo does not mention the product or company that so pleased the Shark Tank India 2 judges.
  • Previously in the episode, Sharks cracked their first All-Shark deal with a viral garment company. Founder Siddharth Dungarwal's story and his struggle impressed the Sharks that all of them decided to invest together. Siddharth shared that he learnt all these business ethics and education from the Sharks' blogs and the Internet. He called Aman Gupta his inspiration for making Indian Brands and said, 'Aapne wohi kiya jo main foreign brands ke saath karne wala hu.' Siddharth agreed to the deal and they were all on board.
  • While another pitch left Namita Thapar and other Sharks fuming as her weight loss company claimed that you could lose weight without doing any exercise. Namita calls it gimmicky and says, "Yeh jo aapne word use kiya hai na 'restart', isi mein problem hai. Ye jo aap bata rahi hai na usse mein fundamentally agree nahi kar rahi hoon, ki no exercise… humare saath aate hain, restart karte hain… Let's spread the message ki weight loss ek lifestyle change se hota hai… aur hum diabetes capital, blood pressure capital ban rahe hain because log ye sab gimmicky cheesein kar rahe hain aur apne health ke saath mess kar rahe hain. Toh mujhe ye sab sunke thoda sa, I am sorry but gussa jaise aa jata hai. I think we need to stop misguiding the country for that reason. (My main issue is with the word 'restart' that you have used. I do not fundamentally agree with what you are saying, that there should be no exercise, we should restart, etc. Weight loss happens due to lifestyle changes, and if our nation is becoming diabetes and blood pressure capital, it is because we are engaging in these gimmicks and playing with our health)."
  • After a successful season 1, the entrepreneurial TV show Shark Tank India is all set to hit the TV screens with season 2. Vineeta Singh, who was one of the popular Sharks in season 1, spoke exclusively to ETimes TV about her experience of being associated with the show in season one and two and what the second season has to offer. The successful entrepreneur revealed how her journey has been full of struggles and setbacks but she managed to sail through and emerge successful. She opened up about the phase when she doubted herself and her capabilities and the in-famous mother's guilt that women go through. Host:
  • The second season of the show will be hosted by stand-up comedian Rahul Dua, who will add the tickle to the complex business discussions.
  • The previous season was hosted by Rannvijay Singha.
