Oppo is all set to launch its latest Reno 2 series smartphones in India today. The Chinese company is expected to launch*as many as three new phones, including the Oppo Reno 2, Reno 2Z, and the Reno 2F. Ahead of the official unveiling, a few certification websites have revealed the key features and specifications of these phones. Oppo has also revealed a few details. Here’s everything you need to know.
One can watch the launch event of the Oppo Reno 2 smartphone live on YouTube, which will*begin at 3:00PM. The company is expected to unveil the phone in*Ocean Heart and Misty Powder color options, as per a recent teaser. The Reno 2 is likely to debut with Sharkfin pop-up camera. Oppo Reno 2 specifications (expected) The Oppo Reno 2 smartphone could be powered by a Snapdragon 730G SoC, as per AnTuTu listing. It will be backed by Adreno 618 GPU along with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is likely to ship with Android 9 Pie-powered Color OS out of the box. If rumors and leaks are to be believed, there could be a massive 6.5-inch AMOLED display. The panel will operate at Full HD+ resolution display.*The device has reportedly score 2,59,109 points on AnTuTu. Oppo is speculated to add four cameras at the back of the phone, including a 48-megapixel primary camera. There could also be a 13-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor, and a 2-megapixel sensor. On the front, we might get to see a 16-megapixel sensor. Beyond this, the Reno 2 is likely to feature a 4,000mAh battery under the hood, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.*The phone would offer support for features like Game Boost 3.0, Game Assistant, and HDR10 gaming and more. Oppo is likely to price the device under Rs 25,000 segment. Moving to the camera specifications, we get a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens and two 2-megapixel sensors for depth mapping.
