Default TOP 100 Troubles before film release

Ragini MMS
Every film faces problems from its pre-production till its release. But as the film is about to release the troubles seem to increase. While some are sheer publicity stunt, some issues are genuine and some just create trouble to make easy money.

'Ragini MMS' which released on 13th May faced an issue prior to its release when the real Ragini threatened to sue Ekta Kapoor. The story of 'Ragini MMS' was apparently inspired from the life Deepika from Delhi, who shared had shared her paranormal experience with Ekta. They signed the contract and Ekta promised to show her the film prior to its release. However Deepika alleges that Ekta did not keep her end of the bargain and has shown her distastefully in the promos. She went to the media and threatened to sue Ekta. All said and done there was no response to the threats from the Balaji camp.

Aarakshan
Prakash Jha's upcoming film, 'Aarakshan' has already run into trouble. A certain Dalit group from Kanpur is upset with the director for choosing Saif Ali Khan to play a Dalit in the film. The Dalit Suraksha Samiti sent a letter of protest to Jha's office, asking why he chose Saif to play a Dalit, since he belongs to a royal family and it is insulting to the community.

Dum Maaro Dum
The film deals with the business of narcotics in Goa. This did not go down well with Goa's travel and tourism association. Their issue was that the film portrayed a very bad picture of Goa and it would affect the state's tourism and trade business.

My Name Is Khan
Last year, Shahrukh Khan made a statement sympathising with the Pakistani cricket players not being included in the IPL teams. The Shiv Sena party workers took offense to his statements and threatened to vandalise the poster of 'My Name Is Khan' and more. Things became worse when there were reports of SRK giving a performance in Bangladesh. The political activists of the group banned the film from screening in theaters and tore down the hoardings of 'My Name Is Khan'.
