Default Ganga awaits a new noon slot

Colors was to start their afternoon band Sanjhi Dophar with two new shows Ganga and Aise Karo Na Vida on February 1 but now it may get delayed by a week or so.

BAG Films has produced Ganga. The production company’s business head Nilanjana says, “Ganga is not starting from February 1, it was a tentative date given by the channel. However we are still waiting for the channel’s call. We have not got any time slot as of now.” The show may get the 1pm or 1.30pm slot, and now the production house is awaiting the next launch date.

On the other hand Deeya and Tony Singh’s Aise Karo Na Vida is said to be launching on February 8 as per our source and may get the slot of either 1.30pm or 2 pm. A source from the production adds,

“However the channel is waiting for the third show to be produced by Srishti Arya’s Rose Productions. The shooting has not begun and even the cast is yet to be finalised. This show is also said to be based on a social issue but will not have a rural backdrop. It is a real story. Things are still under planning. The name of the show is also undecided.”

Srishti says, “Yes I am doing a show for the noon slot, but it is too early to talk about all this. May be by next week things would get clear.”
It is said that the channel was planning to launch these shows with fanfare but since things are yet to be smoothened out about the third show, they have postponed their plans.
