What was the type of time recording you used in time management. Positive or negative? What is positive time recording and negative time recording? What are the differences between them? Answer

Positive time Management records all the time entered by the
employee ie absences and Attendances

ie recording all events

Where as in Negative Time management, we record deviations
from the planned working time.


What r all the feature r u using in u r project, Answer

NUMKR(Number range assignment)
PINCH(Administrator Group)
ABKRS(Payroll Area)
TARIFF(Payscale Area/Type)
INVAL9(Wagetype Charecteristics)
and LGMST, PRZNT, PRZNC,40ECC, 40ECS, SCHZK, QUOMO
etc...

How do you derive amounts in payroll? Answer

u derive amounts in payroll through wage types


how many tikets did u get in per day, Answer

its dependence on u r project,

system genrated tickets or errors, and end user will send
the some tickets

What is an Export mode and how do you use it and what for? Answer

I guess, You mean, Expert Mode,

Well, Expert Mode is used in OM to create individual objects
(Org. Unit, Position, Job, task etc) using the infotype.

What is meant by payscale structure? How did you configure payscale structure? How do you import payscale data from non SAP to SAP?. Answer

Payscale structure means creation of payscale area,
payscale type,area,level and group with Employee sub group
grouping for PCR and CAP

What is diff between simple maintenance and detailed maintenance? Answer

If we want to create huge structures we will prefer for
simple maintainence.

If we want to create org structures using objects and
infotypes we prefer detailed maintainence.

How did you create pay scale structure? Answer

The pay scale sturcture consits of

For Hourly employees
Payscale Type
Pay scale area
For salaried employees
Paygrade type
Paygrade area

and then its grouped based in the ESG with different
payscale grous and levels

How do you transfer data from PA to OM. Answer

there is 2 way for integration of pm&om
1,plogi orga x
2,thru RHINTE00-TRANSACTION CODE OOPH-if om is installable
as astand alone


How do you restrict the data to be entered in payroll area? Answer

No,their is no thing like restricting the data to be
entered in payroll area

we can restrict the payroll by using the control records
i.e.,exit payroll we can restrict for that month

How did you integrate Payroll with Financial Accounting for Payroll processing?
Symbolic accoutning

What were the payroll periods for the payroll? Answer

In payroll, the employees pay is calculated for a certain
numbe of days like

Weekly
Bi Weekly
MOnthly etc.

Based on this the on a Fiscal calender can be divided into a
number of periods.

for Monthly there will be 12 peroiods
In a bi-weekly there will be 26 payroll periods ie.52/2 = 26

In SAP payroll if you want to run the payroll for a period,
the payroll should be completed and exited for the previous
period.


If i will not select u then what u will do?

Well, every step is a learnin experince fr me..if im not
selected , this interview would be a learin exp fr me,I will
analyze what went wrng,work on it and improve and giv my
best shot in next interview. being an optimistic I would
think the best opportunity is still waitin fr me..

What is your best achievement?

Like during the project what all the challenges you faced
during configuration of OM PA TIME AND PAYROLL and you need
to explain atleast one situation to the interviewer.

i want to run payroll for monthly, weekly and semi monthly same day for this i need to create different date modifiers or single date modifier? Answer

You need to create the separate payroll area for all the
Different frequencies...

Date Modifiers is used to distinguish between the pay date
for the same frequencies payroll area.

What were the reports generated by you in payroll? Answer

I have generated LTA report this report display how many
number of employee(Male/female) is active in begin of
months and how many number of employee are recruited
transferred Obtained PR/WP resigned in one month and how
many number of employee(Male/Female) reaming in End of
month and after that whole data should be printable format
and lots of report generated.

What is the use of structural authorizations? Answer

Structural authorization can be defined as the Authorization
based on the time dependent structures in HR like
Organization Unit, Business Event Hierarchies etc.

Eg: If you assign authorizations based on Position(Org
Unit), who ever assigned to that position will get the
authorization.

What is the difference between Personnel Area and Pay scale Area? If I had 1000 areas, would i create 1000 pay scale areas) Answer

Personnel area is an organizational unit which represents
Specific area of the company organized according to the
Aspects of Personnel administration, time management and
Payroll

payscale area is the geographical location where payscale
type is valid

If I had 1000 areas, would i create 1000 pay scale areas
ANSWER: NO

How can you Copy Org. structure from other structure? What is the T-Code for that and process path? Answer

Make sure that the plan number is established through the
IMG. (And that it is
not the active plan.)
Go Human Resources -> Organizational Management Tools ->
Plan version ->
Copy.
It runs RHCOPL00. All or any portion of the plan maybe
copied and manipulated
and then copied back in to the active plan.

What is the difference between exempt employee and non exempt employee? Answer

Employees who work in non-exempt positions are not exempt
from the overtime pay requirements of the FLSA. They keep
records of the specific times they work so that they are
paid overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a
workweek. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the employee?s
hourly rate.

Employees in exempt positions do not receive overtime pay no
matter how many hours they work in a workweek. Since they
don?t receive overtime pay, there is no need for them to
keep records of the specific hours they work.
