WORST OF 2017: TOP 10 FLOP TV shows of the Year
#Bestof2017: Shows That Failed To Impress Over The Past year!
 While 2017 saw some highly popular shows and powerful performances, there's always shows and scenes you'd rather not see on your TV screens. We're talking about the shows that seemed rather intriguing when their promos came out however, with each passing episode they lost their charm and failed at keeping the viewers' interest intact. This definitive listing is rather paradoxical as we're listing the best of flop shows from this year! Scroll through to find out which shows made (note: didn't make) the cut-  Dhhai Kilo Prem came along to revolutionize the way we see a male and female protagonist on-screen. Anjali Anand and Meherzan Mazda turned out to be a strong reason to watch the show as the hype around it was real. However, very soon, the curious audience was met with a rather dull presentation and a plot line that just didn't hold enough promise. What was meant to be iconic quickly fizzled out and Dhhai Kilo Prem became a run off the mill story that failed to hold the viewer's interest, keeping in mind the other Star Dopahar shows that didn't bring in TRPs either.  Dil Boley Oberoi came as a spin-off for Ishqbaaaz, a wildly popular show on Star Plus. This was the first time Indian TV saw a spin-off of any kind and naturally we bought the hype. However, what was meant to be the separate lives of the other Oberoi brothers Omkara ( Kunal Kulbhushan Jaisingh) and Rudra ( Leenesh Mattoo) turned out to be yet another Ishqbaaaz. And, the audiences were quick to notice the downward slide in popularity. Regardless of having major characters the parallel plot didn't work out and so the show was integrated right back in Ishqbaaaz. TV, Biwi Aur Main  TV, Biwi Aur Main was SAB TV's attempt to poke fun at Tellyland itself! The show got major names like Shruti Seth and Karanveer Mehra back to the screens (the actors enjoyed a huge fan following at the peak of their careers). This one was supposed to be a step up in the comedy genre and while it aired on a rather popular channel that does well with TRPs, it failed to garner views. The show ran for a very short span before the makers decided to pull the plug on it.  Love Ka Hai Intezaar was one of the most awaited shows of the year. Everyone wanted to see Keith Sequeira and the lovely Sanjeeda Sheikh set fire to the screens the way they did on the promos that looked very promising. Turns out the plot did hold some intrigue but not enough to keep audiences glued to the TV screens. The show even brought in Mohit Sehgal who's comeback was as mentioned earlier, much awaited. However, it was just a downward spiral from then on. The dipping TRPs puts this show on our list of flop shows for the year.  Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? makes it back to our list because of it's booming popularity and the downfall that followed. The show was all set to bring back an iconic series back as a third installment in an call new avatar, but alas, it did not meet our expectations. What was a cult started by Sanaya Irani and Barun Sobti, failed miserably when it tired making its away back to TV. This one makes it to the list for being a very best disappointment to fans.
