Top 10 contestants for this week.
After a team-dominated last week, we are back with our traditional format of giving ranks to individual contestants in the show.
Last week may have been all about one team versus the other, but we couldn't have been more opportune to get the traditional ranking format back, as this week saw the complete opposite. Relationships changed, bonds were tested and everything was a roller-coaster. Let's rock and roll-  At number 10 is Benafsha Soonawalla as currently, she is undoubtedly the most naive individual on the show. Even though her gesture in the nomination task for Priyank Sharma was emotionally applaudable, let's just say it was totally stupid. Vikas' analysis on her decision was on point as she should have understood the crux of the game and played with her brains. The only way her triple nomination acceptance would be justified is when she gets eliminated this week.  While his 'best friend' is at 10, Priyank Sharma gets the 9th spot. Equally naive and stupid about decisions, Priyank has been all over the place this week. His angle with Benafsha continues to get complex and whatever intention it has, the reception of the same is not positive. He only gets brownie points for going bald for Hiten and returning his favour and that's why, he gets the 9th spot.  I haven't seen a more lost contestant than Luv Tyagi in all the seasons of the show so far. While, he did earn some positive reception for instantly agreeing to have the ZERO tattooed for Hina to be safe; the ridiculous decision of applying make-up and hiding it, in spite of Bigg Boss' warning was literally the foolish thing on his part. He was easily manipulated and controlled by Vikas and Puneesh in the luxury budget task and the reason he gets the 8th spot is that all this led to Luv Tyagi being THERE in every episode.  It was a surprisingly quiet week for Arshi Khan and that is why she falls to the 7th spot this week. In a week where relationships were tested, she proved her fettle when she did not hesitate to give up her nighties for Vikas and even mentioned how she did not make a deal about it. It was good to see Arshi calm at some instances, but for not ceasing to be an entertainer, she still gets the 7th spot.  Talk about having the perks of being in a supposed relationship, physical intimacy and unasked support, Bandgi Kalra may either be the most unaware or the smartest player in the game currently. While, on one hand, she earns sympathy from Salman Khan on characterisation, she choses to not care about it at all on her worldwide display of ******** moments with Puneesh Sharma inspite of Salman's warning. However, that and Puneesh's friendship with Akash got her to be safe earlier this week and Mr. Loverboy also became the reason for her being the captaincy contender, eventually becoming the captain. Support is one thing and making a puppet out of the other is another and Bandgi, if this is her game strategy seems to playing it smart. So far, she gets the 6th spot for her antics.  I cease to understand how can someone be so cunning, manipulative, controlling, instigating gossiper and still DENY it all with such grace. Hina Khan continues to be the same and I couldn't have been happier when her comments were not responded the way she expected it to be when Hiten did not pay heed to her 'concern.' But all this continues to keep her in the frame throughout the week and hence she gets the 5th spot. Also, R.I.P Pooh!  While, I continue to be a huge fan of Akash Dadlani's entertaining s****s, it was disheartening to see him make remarks at the people he was once real close to viz, Shilpa Shinde, Arshi Khan and Hiten Tejwani. We can easily say he pulled a 'Hina Khan' this week and it couldn't have been more evident when he was literally bonding with his the then enemy, Hina during the luxury budget task. The reason he gets the 4th spot is that in spite of his planned games, he is still an entertaining individual.  And finally the hatchet has been buried between Shilpa Shinde and Vikas Gupta (hopefully). And there was so much positivity between the duo this week except last night's episode. Shilpa, as known by everyone now and accepted by Vikas is certainly an amazing person when not doing her antics. The only second most sane person this week too, Shilpa was fantastic when she explained how this game is not about making bonds and being affected by them. As a supporter, she tried to put some sense to Akash on his sudden flip, but when that did not happen and Vikas tried to console her, her reply was a winner in itself. For all that, Shilpa Shinde gets the 3rd spot.  Welcome to the footage world, Mr. Hiten Tejwani. You may have found a lot more reasons to have Hiten as your favorite contestant this week. We FINALLY saw Hiten getting angry for the right reason when he shut Akash's mouth and even took a stand when he was the sanchalak in the luxury budget task. Apart from all this, Hiten's award-winning response to Hina's attempt to instigate him deserves a special rank in itself. Kudos to Hiten as he gets the 2nd spot.  The perfect blend of heart and brains this week was once again, Vikas Gupta. He may receive some flak for his unconventional methods, but he is certainly a powerhouse of a contestant in the Bigg Boss Season 11 house for sure. Winning hearts by settling things with Shilpa Shinde and being the ultimate mastermind in the luxury budget task, Vikas Gupta deserves the top spot without a doubt. With only 12 contestants left, the ones that did not deserve to go on the list this week were Sapna Choudhary and Puneesh Sharma. While the exclusion of Sapna is self-explanatory, Puneesh's ouster is because we feel that he is currently being a mere puppet to Bandgi. Let's see how do things transpire next week.
