Maintain Ethnic Origin

Use
Ethnic Origins have been defined as per the Canadian Employment Equity guidelines. The following entries are delivered in SAP Best Practices for HCM U.S.

Procedure
1.Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

IMG Path
Personnel Management ® Personnel Administration ® Personal Data ® Additional Personal Data ® Maintain ethnic origin
Transaction Code
SPRO


2.If a dialog box appears asking you to enter the work area, enter 10.


3.On the Change View “Ethnic Origin”: Overview screen choose the New Entries ****on and enter the following values:

Define Administrator Groups

Use
The Administrator fields on the Organizational Assignment infotype (IT0001) can be used to group employees for processing and reporting purposes. Three types of administrators can be defined: Personnel, Time and Payroll. The allowable Administrators are controlled by feature ‘PINCH’ which is delivered with the following configuration:

Define Administrator

Use
The SAP Best Practices for HCM USA provides some sample administrator codes for use within each Administrator Group. These codes are numeric, meaning, the customer may use them with modification to the administrator names only; Delivered within the SAP Best Practices for HCM U.S.
