Chadwick Boseman’s superhero film Black Panther has turned out to be a huge money-spinner at the global box office. The Marvel Superhero film not only dominated the domestic market, but also performed phenomenally well in the international circuits. Till now, the film has collected $ 1.125 billion globally which is a mind-boggling Rs 7,300.86 crore. In fact, the collections of Black Panther are more than that of top 5 Hindi films put together, which is just insane.

The total worldwide collections of 5 biggest Indian films (Dangal, Baahubali 2, Secret Superstar, PK and Bajrangi Bhaijaan) are Rs 6,170.56 crore. This means Black Panther leads with more than a thousand crore as compared to our biggies at the box office! The superhero film is still attracting a huge chunk of audience to the theatres, and so we can expect a good growth in the collections of the film. Interestingly, it is the fifth Marvel Cinematic Universe film to cross the $1 billion mark worldwide. Earlier this feat was achieved by The Avengers, Age Of Ultron, Iron Man 3 and Captain America: Civil War.

Apart from Chadwick Boseman, the film also stars Michael B Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker and Andy Serkis in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Ryan Coogler and is co-written by Joe Robert Cole. The film is produced by Kevin Feige, who recently announced the second part of the film, which is indeed a great news for all the movie buffs. On the other hand, Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan is still running in the Chinese market and is expected to add another Rs 100 crore to its kitty.
