2021-2022: Top ten Most Popular OTT actors list

South superstars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Tamannaah Bhatia have struck gold on OTT besides enjoying a successful stint in movies and small screen. Both the actresses have made it into the list of top 10 most popular OTT stars in a recent survey conducted by a Mumbai-based media consulting firm. The list also features revered actors like Manoj Bajpayee, Pankaj Kapoor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sushmita Sen, and others.

Tamannaah ventured into the digital space with the web shows '11th Hour' and 'November Story' which have managed to make some good noise and Samantha has taken the OTT space by storm with 'Family Man 2'. Commenting on the same in a press release, Tamannaah said, "I enjoyed the process of working on a web show. It was a refreshing experience. I am glad to know that the audience enjoyed my performances and showered me with so much love."

While Samantha Ruth Prabhu impressed the Telugu telly audiences with her brief cameo in Bigg Boss Telugu season 4 as a guest host in the absence of Nagarjuna Akkineni, Tamannaah forayed into Telugu TV with MasterChef Telugu. She hosted the debut season of the reality TV series in Telugu until she made a controversial exit much ahead of the finale due to alleged 'payment dues' by the production house bankrolling the show. Both Tamannaah and the production house resorted to a legal battle, too.

Samantha was recently listed as the top 10 most searched celebrity in a popular search engine's 2021 review.
