Do you intend to customize quick access toolbar? Here is the guide.

The Quick Access Toolbar is a customizable toolbar that contains a set of commands that are independent of the tab that is currently displayed. You can add ****ons that represent commands to the Quick Access Toolbar.

Why you want to add those command ****ons to the toolbar? Simple, for easy access. For example, when using Excel, often you need the Windows Calculator to do the calculations. It is very good to add the Calculator to the Quick Access Toolbar so that you just need a click to launch the application.

To add a command to the Quick Access Toolbar

On the Ribbon, click the appropriate tab or group to display the command that you want to add to the Quick Access Toolbar. Right-click the command, and then click Add to Quick Access Toolbar on the shortcut menu.

To add Calculator to the Quick Access Toolbar

Click the downward point arrow to the right of the Quick Access Toolbar and select More Commands...

From the Excel Options dialog box displayed, under the choose command from drop-down menu, choose Commands Not in the Ribbon.

From the list of commands displayed, select Calculator and click the Add ****on. You will see it appear in the list on the right side. Click OK. The Calculator icon will now appear in your Quick Access Toolbar.
