Reports suggest that during one of the schedules landslides blocked the roads near Rohtang Pass and the crew had to be evacuated by the Army.

Akshay Kumar had once written during his shoot, "I am now sitting in my van being tortured by my make up artist to look like an old haggard man in the stunning mountains of Manali. About to shoot the much awaited song with Ash who still looks 21 even when they try and make her look 50!"

Director Vipul Shah in one of his interviews said it was an 'exciting experience' for him to have brought Ash and Akshay together. It was a pair that he had always wanted to work with.

Akshay has said that Action Replayy was his tribute to the 70s, which he says is the greatest retro era.

Ash and Akki are teaming up for the first time since their last movie together Khakee in 2004.(PTI)
