Difference between a Job and a Position
Difference between jobs and positions:
A job is generic. For example: Joe is in a managerial job. A position is specific. For example: Joe is a Sales manager. An employee occupies a position and not a job. Therefore you create a job first and then assign a position to it and then hire a person into that position. It is sequential. |

Org Units vs Personnel Area
Hi,
Are the org unit structures and personnel area structures one and the same the only difference being that one is executed in the GUI and the other in the SPRO?? If a user makes a structural modification in the GUI what happens on the SPRO side to the personnel area and sub area and vice versa?? Thx. |
